Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb sustains hard fall in end zone, ruled out with concussion

During Thursday night's game, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb experienced a severe fall in the end zone, resulting in a concussion that forced him out of the contest. Dak Prescott was seen checking on Lamb immediately following the incident.

Lamb, who had already faced a challenging season, had been sidelined earlier due to a high ankle sprain and missed a series upon his return for disciplinary reasons. His overall performance had dipped somewhat as the Cowboys increasingly featured George Pickens in their offense.

In the third quarter, with 121 receiving yards, Lamb attempted a one-handed catch on a deep pass in the end zone. He failed to secure the ball and landed heavily, with his head striking the ground in a manner consistent with serious concussions.

Medical staff quickly assisted Lamb off the field, diagnosing him with a concussion and directing him to the locker room. He was officially ruled out for the remainder of the game.

The Cowboys were already struggling offensively, and the loss of one of their top receivers added to their difficulties on the night.
