Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb ruled out with concussion after hard fall in end zone

The Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver CeeDee Lamb experienced a serious setback during Thursday nights game against the Detroit Lions, sustaining a concussion after a hard fall in the end zone.

Lambs season has been challenging. Earlier in the year, he missed games due to a high ankle sprain. Shortly after returning, he was temporarily benched for disciplinary reasons. His on-field output has slightly declined as teammate George Pickens has seen increased involvement in the offense.

During the matchup with the Lions, Lamb had recorded 121 receiving yards by the early third quarter. On a deep pass attempt in the end zone, he stretched for a one-handed catch, but failed to secure it and landed heavily, striking his head on the ground. Observers noted that he assumed a posture often associated with serious concussions.

Lamb was assisted off the field and subsequently diagnosed with a concussion, ruling him out for the remainder of the game. Despite the Cowboys attempting to continue their offensive momentum without him, they were ultimately defeated by the Lions, 44-30.
