Megadeth reveals plans for 'Behind the Mask' movie screening

'Megadeth: Behind the Mask' is set to give fans a first look at the bands upcoming final album through a global cinema presentation. The film will debut in theaters on January 22, featuring an in-depth interview with frontman Dave Mustaine and a full track-by-track exploration of the new record.

"This listening experience is going to be unforgettable," Mustaine commented. "Im thrilled to share it with thousands of fans worldwide. Im incredibly grateful to everyone who made this film possible, especially the fans! Now, lets get this started and grab the popcorn!"

Tickets for the event will be available starting December 11 at 9 a.m. ET. The bands final self-titled album is scheduled for release on January 22.

In addition, Megadeth is preparing a multi-year farewell tour, including North American dates with Iron Maiden, beginning in August.
