Gwyneth Paltrow Gives Timothee Chalamet Goop-Inspired Advice on ‘Marty Supreme’ Without Being Asked

While working on their upcoming film, Gwyneth Paltrow attempted to offer Timothe Chalamet a skincare suggestion. In Marty Supreme, Timothes character has pockmarks, and his eyes were made to look intense with contacts and glasses, the 53-year-old Goop founder shared during the December 2 episode of The Run-Through with Vogue podcast.

He mentioned something about it, and I immediately said, You could try micro-needling. Then he told me, This is just makeup. Thats when I realized, Oh, wow, Paltrow laughed.

She praised the makeup work, noting, The effects were so convincing, I genuinely thought he had minor acne scars. But in reality, his skin is flawless. Seeing it up close, you cant help but admire it.

Previously, Paltrow also admitted she was unaware that Chalamet, 29, was dating Kylie Jenner. When my children found out, they were shocked and said, Mom, how did you not know this? she recounted. I honestly dont follow that kind of news.

In the film, directed by Josh Safdie, Paltrow portrays retired actress and socialite Kay Stone, who forms an unexpected bond with a young table tennis player, Marty Mauser, played by Chalamet. The movie also features Odessa Azion, Kevin OLeary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher in supporting roles. It is set to premiere in the United States on December 25, 2025.
