Article: Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith Upset About $3M Lawsuit

A source has disclosed that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are deeply upset over a recent $3 million lawsuit. The legal complaint accuses Jada of threatening the plaintiff during a confrontation in September 2021, warning that he would end up missing.

The couple is reportedly taking action against Bilaal Salaam, who filed the lawsuit against Jada. An industry insider shared with PEOPLE, "They are really mad and consider this a bunch of nonsense." The source described Salaam as an opportunist looking to exploit them, adding that the lawsuit is just a money grab to get something out of them.

The complaint stems from an alleged incident at the Regency Calabasas Commons in September 2021. According to the lawsuit, Jada approached Salaam with around seven members of her team and issued a threat. The document claims that Jada warned Salaam he would end up missing or catch a bullet if he didnt stop spreading her personal information. Furthermore, she allegedly insisted that Salaam sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), threatening him with dire consequences if he refused. The suit also claims that Jada followed Salaam to his car while continuing to make verbal threats.

Salaam further alleged that the couple and their associates launched a "retaliatory campaign" against him. Another insider remarked, Bilaal has known Will for many years but became a loose-lipped individual, which upset both Will and Jada. Like most public figures, they dont want their private lives aired in public, especially in such a controversial manner.

The same source suggested that the lawsuit was designed to extract money and make the issue go away. This isn't the first time Bilaal Salaam has made claims about the Smiths. In November 2023, during an appearance on the Unwine with Tasha K podcast, he alleged he once caught Will Smith and Duane Martin engaging in intimate acts.

In response, Wills representative denied the allegations, calling them completely fabricated and unequivocally false. Jada also addressed the rumors during her appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast, dismissing them as ridiculous and nonsense.

As of now, neither Will Smith nor Jada Pinkett Smith has made an official statement regarding the ongoing lawsuit.
