Woman fatally stabbed in the streets of Ingolstadt, Germany

Authorities reported that a woman lost her life after being stabbed on a street in Ingolstadt, a city in southern Germany. The main suspect is believed to be her former partner.

The 45-year-old victim was taken to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. Her 49-year-old ex-partner, who is seriously injured, is also receiving treatment in the hospital under police supervision.

The incident occurred following a dispute between the two on Friday evening. Investigators believe the suspect used a kitchen knife to attack the woman.

The victims two sons, aged 23 and 17, tried to intervene to protect their mother. During the confrontation, one of the sons sustained a minor hand injury.

Police secured the scene on Friday evening and conducted witness interviews as part of their ongoing investigation.
