Authorities have detained two more individuals following the sexual assault of a woman during her morning run. Suffolk Police reported that the victim, a woman in her 30s, was jogging along a pathway off Iliffe Way in Stowmarket between 05:45 and 06:00 GMT on 19 November, when an unknown man allegedly forced her to the ground and assaulted her.
A 34-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of sexual assault and attempted rape, while a 49-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of aiding an offender.
Earlier, a 38-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the investigation but was released without charges after two days and will face no further action, police confirmed. Both of the recently arrested individuals remain in custody as inquiries continue.
