NEW YORK Pope Leo XIV is preparing to release his debut full-length book in the United States next year. HarperOne revealed on Wednesday that it has secured worldwide rights to Peace Be with You! My Words to the Church and to the World, with an official publication date of February 26.
The collection features a series of sermons and speeches delivered by the pope since his election in May. HarperOne, part of HarperCollins Publishers, describes the book as "a vision for peace, unity, and reconciliation in a divided world."
The title draws inspiration from Pope Leo XIV's initial public address as pope, made from the central balcony of St. Peters Basilica. He declared, I would like this greeting of peace to resound in your hearts, in your families, among all people, wherever they may be, in every nation and throughout the world. Peace be with you!
HarperOne has previously published works by other pontiffs, including Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis.
