Tina Knowles has achieved another milestone. According to exclusive information from Billboard, her memoir Matriarch claimed the number one spot among the most-streamed music memoirs on Spotify in 2025. This announcement coincided with the release of Spotifys annual Wrapped on Wednesday, December 3, which highlights users listening habits and the platforms most-streamed content over the past year. For the first time, Spotify Wrapped included audiobooks in its rankings.

Following Matriarch, the next most popular music memoirs were Fahrenheit-182 by Mark Hoppus and Dan Ozzi in second place, and Night People: How to Be a DJ in 90s New York City by Mark Ronson in third. Other top-ranked memoirs included Patti Smiths Bread of Angels, Jeff Pearlmans Only God Can Judge Me, Ozzy Osbournes Last Rites, Lionel Richies Truly, Kid Cudis Cudi, Neko Cases The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, and Mike Campbells Heartbreaker.

Across all genres, the top streamed books were novels Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, Lights Out by Navessa Allen, and Iron Flame by Yarros.

Released in April, Matriarch chronicles Tina Knowles experiences raising her daughters, Beyonc and Solange, and shares her journey through personal challenges, including her battle with breast cancer. The memoir details her diagnosis and successful surgery to remove the tumor.

When the book reached the top of The New York Times hardcover nonfiction bestsellers list, Beyonc shared her excitement on Instagram, celebrating her mothers accomplishment. Shortly afterward, Beyonc invited Tina on stage during a Cowboy Carter Tour performance, allowing fans to join in honoring the author.
