RHOSLC’s Britani Bateman Shares Unpleasant Encounter with Luann de Lesseps at BravoCon

Brittani Bateman, a cast member from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, was recently asked a question that sparked quite a bit of controversy. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she was asked about her experience at BravoCon 2025 and who had been the rudest to her. Her response? The Countess Luann de Lesseps.

Brittani shared the details of her encounter with Andy Cohen on air, revealing that her interaction with Luann was less than warm. When asked by the Shady Uni(corn), a humorous puppet known for its bold questions, who had been the rudest at the event, Brittani paused for a moment before naming Luann.

"Oh, oh, I would say Luann," she said. Andy Cohen seemed surprised by the answer and asked, "Oh, really?" To which Brittani added, "I really love you, Luann. Im sorry, dont be mad at me for saying that."

Andy then pointed out that both women had appeared together on a holiday special, and asked if Luann was aware of Brittani's Broadway background. Brittani, who has performed in roles such as Ellen in Miss Saigon and Nancy in Oliver, responded, Well, she came up to me and asked me about it.

Brittani continued, "Then I asked her, Hey, I would love for you to do a cameo,' but she turned me down. She said, Oh, I dont do other peoples shows. Its okay, whatever."

This was in reference to Brittanis upcoming cabaret performance at 54 Below in New York City, where she had hoped Luann might make a guest appearance. Given that Luann has a strong passion for cabaret, including her own tour, it seemed like a natural request. However, it appears Luann declined without much hesitation.

Despite this, Luann didnt seem to hold any ill will. The Countess responded to the story on social media, wishing Brittani well with her performance, saying, "Life is a cabaret! I wish you great success! " Her classy response was met with approval by many.
