Criscilla Anderson, a beloved figure from the Netflix reality show Country Ever After, has passed away at the age of 45. Her close friend, Lindsey, shared the heartbreaking news on social media, accompanied by a touching message from Anderson herself, which she had written for her loved ones prior to her passing.

Criscilla Anderson Dies Following Battle with Colon Cancer

Criscilla, widely known for her role on Country Ever After, lost her battle to stage three colon cancer. Lindsey, who also worked as her photographer, broke the news to fans before sharing Andersons own heartfelt message. She wrote, My heart is shattered to share this. I promised Criscilla I would walk this journey with her whenever she couldnt stand on her own two feet, and I pray she knows how fiercely she was loved. Being by her side until the very end was the greatest honor of my life.

The post continued with Andersons message: If youre reading this, Ive finally slipped into the arms of Jesus peacefully and surrounded by love. Please dont stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone Im Home.

Anderson then addressed her children: My babies I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence thats me. Im still mothering you. Im still yours. #everybutterfly. She also expressed her appreciation for her family and friends, including Lindsey, who supported her throughout her illness. She closed her message with, Be gentle with each other. Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isnt as far away as it feels.

Following her passing, Criscillas husband, country musician Coffey Anderson, paid an emotional tribute, stating, Criscilla defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet. Heaven gained a star today.

Anderson was initially diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018 and underwent treatment that left her cancer-free by 2021. However, the disease returned in 2022, severely affecting her lymph nodes. In the months leading up to her death, Lindsey provided updates on Andersons condition to her followers on Instagram.
