Revealed: The Cause of Death for Influencer Barbara Jankavski, 31, Known as the 'Human Barbie'

The cause of death for Brazilian influencer Barbara Jankavski has been confirmed after her passing last month. The 31-year-old content creator, known as "Human Barbie," was found unresponsive at the residence of 51-year-old public defender Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto on November 2.

Jankavski, who had garnered a significant following on social media platforms with over 55,000 followers on Instagram and 344,000 on TikTok, was widely recognized for documenting her numerous cosmetic surgeries. She was also known by her online moniker "Boneca Desumana," which translates to "inhuman doll" in English.

After a forensic examination by the Technical-Scientific Police and an investigation by the So Paulo Civil Police, it was concluded that Jankavski died due to an accidental overdose of cocaine, according to local reports. However, both the So Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office and Jankavski's family have raised doubts and requested that the case be presented before a Jury Court, suggesting the possibility of foul play, as reported by g1.

According to a police report obtained by CNN Brasil, De Vitto claimed that he had been with Jankavski the night she died after hiring her for "sexual services." The two had reportedly used illicit substances together. De Vitto explained that after Jankavski fell asleep, he noticed she was unresponsive and attempted to revive her for nine minutes before emergency medical services arrived and declared her dead.

When authorities arrived, they found Jankavski's body clad only in underwear, with an injury on her left eye and bruising on her back. CNN Brasil reported that a friend of Jankavski suggested that the facial injury could have been from an earlier fall. In the aftermath, police considered the circumstances of her death suspicious.

Known for her candid updates about her cosmetic procedures, including a facelift she had in June, Jankavski last posted to her social media on October 1, sharing a video with influencer Avs Da Razo on Instagram. Following her death, tributes poured in from her fans, who expressed shock and sorrow in the comments.

"I couldnt believe it when I saw it rest in peace, my love ," one fan wrote.

Another commented, "Rest in peace, diva, you lived a life I always wished for, and that brings some comfort ."
