Kandi Burruss Battles Former Partner Todd Tucker in Prenup Dispute; Presents RHOA Clips as Proof

Years after their first meeting on the set of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss is turning moments from the show into evidence in her ongoing divorce from Todd Tucker. The legal conflict between the two is intensifying as Kandi works to counter Todds claims regarding their prenuptial agreement.

Following Kandis divorce filing last month, Todd responded with a counterclaim seeking primary custody of their children and challenging the validity of their prenup. He alleged that Kandis legal team had pressured him into signing the agreement without his own lawyers present, and outlined a set of demands in case a court deemed the prenup unenforceable.

According to court filings obtained by Us Weekly, Kandi has responded with an amended divorce petition, firmly disputing Todds assertions. Their prenup negotiations were featured on the RHOA spinoff Kandis Wedding, and Kandis attorney referenced this footage in court documents. Essentially, the lawyer urged the judge to review the televised events as evidence.

The parties journey to executing an enforceable Prenuptial Agreement was filmed and broadcast on the Bravo television network, with the knowledge and consent of both [Kandi] and [Todd], for their five-part reality television wedding documentary entitled Kandis Wedding that premiered on June 1, 2014, Kandis attorney stated in the filing.

Kandis legal team highlighted a specific scene from the show where Todd clearly stated he was ready to sign the prenup after consulting with his lawyers, both on and off camera, contradicting his current claim that he signed it without legal guidance.

No judicial ruling has been made yet, but if clips from RHOA end up supporting Kandis case, it would add an ironic twist to a marriage that began thanks to Bravo.
