GloRilla Reconciles With Young Thug After Leaked Jail Phone Call: ‘We Cool’

After a controversial jail phone call surfaced earlier this year in which Young Thug criticized GloRilla, calling her appearance into question, the two artists have resolved their differences. GloRilla spoke with Complex on Wednesday, December 3, confirming that their relationship is now positive.

"Were cool, were cool," GloRilla stated. "It was just a funny situation. I dont take things too seriously if its not life-threatening or violent, so I didnt let it bother me."

She also hinted at the possibility of collaborating with Thug in the future, saying, "Well see about it."

The initial tension arose from a leaked call in which Thug made disparaging remarks about GloRilla, including dismissing comparisons between her and Rihanna and stating he would not pursue her. He later issued a public apology on X, explaining that his comments were made during a difficult period in jail and expressing regret for his words.

GloRilla briefly referenced the incident on social media, joking about someone repeatedly messaging her, which many interpreted as a nod to Thug. Despite earlier disagreements, she did not hold grudges and even playfully referenced Thug on her track "Brianna," demonstrating her lighthearted approach to the situation.

Following private discussions between the two, Young Thug apologized again in his song "I Miss My Dogs," and the artists are now on amicable terms, leaving the door open for future interactions and potential collaborations.
