Dua Lipa Performs 'Oye Mi Amor' with Fher Olvera from Maná at Second Mexico City Concert

During her second show in Mexico City on Tuesday night, British singer Dua Lipa thrilled the audience by inviting Fher Olvera of Man to perform a duet of the bands 1992 hit, Oye Mi Amor. The GNP Seguros Stadium transformed into a huge sing-along as fans celebrated one of the most legendary rock en espaol bands.

Speaking to the audience in Spanish, Dua Lipa announced, Tonight we are very lucky because we have someone very special who is going to sing with us, before welcoming Olvera to the stage amid roaring applause. The crowd erupted as the iconic guitar intro of the song began, signaling one of Mans most beloved tracks.

The performance captivated the 65,000 attendees and quickly went viral online, with fans sharing videos of the memorable collaboration. This cover followed Dua Lipas rendition of Consuelito Velzquezs classic Bsame Mucho, which she performed on Monday at the first of three concerts in Mexico as part of her Radical Optimism Tour. The tour will conclude on Friday, December 5, at the same stadium.

Throughout her Latin American and Spain tour since May, Dua Lipa has included several covers of regional hits, such as Hroe by Enrique Iglesias in Spain, De Msica Ligera by Soda Stereo in Argentina, and Tu Falta de Querer by Mon Laferte and El Duelo by La Ley in Chile. In Brazil, she performed Magalenha alongside Carlinhos Brown, while in Peru she joined Mauricio Mesones for Cariito, and in Colombia she sang Shakiras Antologa.

The Mexico shows highlight Dua Lipas ongoing connection with Latin America. She previously appeared at the Corona Capital festival in 2017 and performed at the Foro Sol, now GNP Seguros Stadium, in September 2022.
