Dodgers' Tyler Glasnow Shares Personal Update During MLB Offseason

The Los Angeles Dodgers, fresh off their second consecutive World Series victory in 2025, are looking to maintain their dominance in the upcoming season. Among the key contributors has been right-handed pitcher Tyler Glasnow, who joined the team in December 2023 after being acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays.

Following the trade, Glasnow secured a five-year contract worth $136.5 million, committing his future to the Dodgers. The arrangement has proven successful, as Glasnow has become a two-time World Series champion and a dependable presence on the mound when healthy. Over his tenure in Los Angeles, the 32-year-old has recorded a 3.37 ERA, a 139 win-loss record, and 274 strikeouts in 224 1/3 innings.

After missing the 2024 postseason due to an elbow injury, Glasnow returned stronger in 2025, delivering a 1.69 ERA and 25 strikeouts in six postseason appearances, even earning a save. His performance solidified his importance to the Dodgers' pitching rotation.

Away from baseball, Glasnow shared significant personal news on Friday, announcing his marriage to longtime partner Meghan Murphy. The couple posted three wedding photos on social media, accompanied by the symbol as a caption. Their relationship began in 2021 when Glasnow noticed Meghan in the stands during a game with the Rays and creatively got her attention by tossing a baseball with his phone number on it.

Glasnow, a former All-Star who debuted with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2016, has spent over a decade in Major League Baseball. While injuries have occasionally interrupted his career, his ability to perform at a high level, particularly in crucial postseason moments, has made him a central figure in the Dodgers' rotation as they pursue a potential three-peat.
