Approximately 350 individuals participated in competing demonstrations in Plymouth over the weekend. Flag Force Plymouth and a group of counter-protesters convened near the Plymouth Civic Centre on Saturday morning.
Devon and Cornwall Police reported that around 50 officers were present to oversee the gatherings and ensure the events remained peaceful. Participants included members of Flag Force and affiliated organizations, as well as a group identifying as anti-fascists.
The anti-fascist contingent marched simultaneously with the "South West Unity March," which commenced at 12:00 GMT and was anticipated to continue for roughly three hours. Demonstrators visited several key locations, including Plymouth City Centre, Plymouth Hoe, and the Barbican.
Supporters of UK Anti-Fascists in Plymouth mobilized to conduct a counter-protest, creating a visible presence alongside the main march.
