Authorities are requesting assistance following the theft of two cherished pet parrots in Worksop. Nottinghamshire Police reported that a residence on Stillwell Gardens was broken into during the early hours of Friday.
The stolen birds are macaws, named Percy and Polly. It is believed the thieves gained access to the home through a window.
Percy is distinguished by his blue, yellow, and green feathers, while Polly features red and blue markings along with grey on her stomach.
PC Alice Braben stated: "The family of Percy and Polly is understandably distressed about the loss of their pets. Macaw parrots require specialized care, and the family is eager to ensure their well-being. These birds can be highly valuable, and if anyone notices them being sold or in an unusual location, please report it."
