As Week 14 approaches, fantasy managers face challenging lineup decisions, especially during the ongoing bye-week shuffle. Heres a breakdown to help set your roster.
Green Light
- TE Brenton Strange vs. Colts: After spending most of the season on injured reserve, Strange has been highly productive since returning in Week 12. The Colts allow significant points to tight ends, making Strange a strong play.
- WR Michael Wilson vs. Rams: With Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined due to a heel injury, Wilsons targets are expected to increase. Arizonas high-volume passing attack makes him a proactive choice.
- TE Kyle Pitts Sr. vs. Seahawks: Pitts sees increased opportunity with Kirk Cousins at quarterback and likely absence of Drake London. Seattle struggles against tight ends, giving Pitts upside.
- WR Devaughn Vele at Buccaneers: Vele has been a consistent target in New Orleans passing game, which should exploit Tampa Bays pass-funnel defense. He recorded 8-93-1 last week and remains a reliable option.
Yellow Light
- WR Adonai Mitchell vs. Dolphins: Mitchell is becoming a primary target in New York, but quarterback play introduces volatility. He likely sees around eight targets, offering moderate upside.
- RB Jordan Mason vs. Commanders: Usually a secondary back, Mason could see increased snaps with Aaron Jones Sr. not fully healthy. Washington allows the third-most points to running backs, presenting a potential opportunity.
- WR Zay Flowers vs. Steelers: Flowers consistently gains yardage but has not scored since Week 1. With Lamar Jacksons injury concerns, he remains a WR3 option.
- TE Darren Waller at Jets: Waller is still central to the offense, particularly near the goal line. While quarterback uncertainty exists, he can be a strategic start looking ahead to future matchups.
Red Light
- RB Bam Knight vs. Rams: Facing a tough run defense that allows just 3.9 yards per attempt, Knight will need touchdown luck to produce. A risky start this week.
- WR Justin Jefferson vs. Commanders: With J.J. McCarthy struggling at quarterback, Jeffersons production has dipped. He has only reached WR25 status once in the last seven games.
- TE Oronde Gadsden II vs. Eagles: Gadsdens output has declined and likely wont rebound against a defense that limits tight ends. The Chargers quarterback situation adds further uncertainty.
- WR Brian Thomas Jr. vs. Colts: Thomas has struggled since returning, posting minimal production. The team is shifting focus to other receiving options, making him a risky play.
