Woman perishes in house fire in the early hours of the morning

In the early hours, a devastating fire engulfed a home on High West Street in Weymouth, Dorset, resulting in the death of a woman. Emergency services were called to the terraced property around 03:45 GMT.
The woman, whose age has not been disclosed, was found deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed that her next of kin have been notified.
Dorset Police stated that the circumstances surrounding her death are currently unexplained. A fire investigation has been launched to determine the origin and cause of the blaze.
Neighbors from nearby residences were temporarily evacuated while firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that two relief teams stayed on site to monitor and manage remaining hotspots.
