Video: Miley Cyrus announces engagement to Maxx Morondo on 'GMA'

On December 3, Miley Cyrus revealed that she is engaged. The 33-year-old singer shared the news during an appearance on Good Morning America.

"My life has fallen into a perfect rhythm alongside the release of Avatar," Cyrus explained. "My personal life and my professional projects have aligned in a way that feels like they are truly in harmony."

Recently, she released the track "Dream as One" for Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Maxx Morondo proposed while the couple was traveling in Asia. According to reports, they have been together for four years and began living together in 2024.

"Im not easy to surprise because I usually like to control every situation, but I completely let go and was genuinely astonished," Cyrus admitted.

She also noted that the themes of love and connection in Avatar resonate with her current personal experiences.

The engagement speculation began when Cyrus appeared at the Avatar 3 premiere showing off her new ring.

Previously, Miley Cyrus was engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth.
