Response from "Mad Men" Star Addressing Major Editing Errors in Re-Release Causes Controversy

The iconic series Mad Men is back in the spotlight, not only for its acclaimed storytelling but also for several noticeable errors in its recent HBO Max release.

All seven seasons of the Emmy-winning drama have been upgraded to 4K resolution, offering fans a visually enhanced experience. However, the remastering process involved redoing some post-production work, and a few oversights slipped through.

Within a day of its Monday release on HBO Max, viewers began spotting issues such as incorrect episode titles and visible unedited background elements.

The most prominent blunder appears in Season 1, Episode 7. During a scene where Roger Sterling vomits following a lunch, viewers can clearly see crew members operating the vomiting apparatus, an error that quickly went viral on social media.

Reacting to the situation, January Jones, who portrayed Betty Draper, shared a humorous screenshot on her Instagram story, joking about the unintended spotlight on the crew responsible for the scene.

Reports indicate that the mishaps were due to Lionsgate sending the wrong 4K files to HBO Max, but corrections are underway to remove the errors, including the infamous vomiting machine shot.

Despite the glitches, fans now have the perfect excuse to revisit the series in its newly remastered format.
