Shirley Manson from Garbage went crazy over a beach ball at Good Things (and uh... we may have been involved)

Melbournes Good Things festival brought unexpected drama yesterday, but not the usual phone died before my favorite band type. This time, it starred Garbages frontwoman Shirley Manson, a rebellious beach ball, and a fiery rant that could have burned every emo in the crowd.

During Garbages performance, Shirley spotted someone in the audience with a beach ball and went off. Her tirade was intense, raw, and unforgettable: I joined a band because I HATED THE BEACH.

Plot twist: the beach balls? Well that was actually our doing. Members of Australian bands Yours Truly and Forever Ends Here, at the suggestion of Stand Atlantic, had launched the beach balls into the crowd during the hit Sex On The Beach.
