Yesterday (Nov. 29) was a very sad day with the loss of my father Warren Williams, wrote Williams Jr. He was a humble, kind, and quiet man who taught me so much about being a good human. One of the greatest singers and performers of his time. Growing up alongside him created memories I will always cherish. Rest in peace, Dad, you will be deeply missed.

Fans and friends quickly responded with messages of support. Glenda Spehr commented, My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. Pete Graham added, Warren was an extraordinary man whose presence left a mark on many lives. I hope your memories bring comfort and strength. Helen Pain recalled, I remember your Dad from the early days of TV he was one of Australias original rock stars and a wonderful person. Condolences to your family. He must have been very proud of you.
