Nursery employee confesses to sexually abusing children

A nursery employee in north London has admitted to sexually abusing children under his supervision over several years. Vincent Chan, aged 45, appeared at Wood Green Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to 26 offenses, which included sexual assault by penetration, sexual assault by touching, and creating indecent images representing the gravest level of child exploitation.

The case against Chan began after a whistleblower raised concerns, leading to an investigation described by the Metropolitan Police as one of their most "disturbing and complex" operations.

Chan, residing on Stanhope Avenue in Finchley, is scheduled for sentencing at a later date.
