Lainey Wilson Collaborates with Yungblud & Aerosmith on Updated Version of ‘Wild Woman’

Just before 2025 comes to a close, Lainey Wilson adds another notable collaboration to her repertoire. The CMA Entertainer of the Year has teamed up with Aerosmith and Yungblud to release Wild Woman (Lainey Wilson Version), a fresh take on a song originally featured on the One More Time EP, a collaborative project by Aerosmith and Yungblud.

The inspiration for this version came after Wilson performed Aerosmiths classic hit Dream On with Steven Tyler at the sixth annual Jam for Janie benefit earlier this year. Following that performance, Tyler and Yungblud invited Wilson to lend her vocals to Wild Woman, while Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry contributed a new guitar segment tailored for this rendition.

Yungblud expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, Im thrilled to have Lainey Wilson join us on this track. Ive admired her for some time, and her journey is genuinely inspiring. We needed a female voice that could deliver authenticity and strength, and Lainey perfectly embodies that. She truly is a wild woman!

The One More Time EP, featuring five tracks, marks Aerosmiths first release of new music in over twelve years. Each song includes duets between Tyler and Yungblud, with the lead single My Only Angel reaching No. 1 on Billboards Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and remaining in the top 10 for three weeks.

This collaboration comes on the heels of Wilsons hosting of the 2025 CMA Awards, where she became the first woman to solo-host the ceremony since 1991. During the event, she also earned three awards, including the prestigious Entertainer of the Year title. Additionally, Wilson is nominated for three Grammys at next years awards, while her single Somewhere Over Laredo currently leads Billboards Country Airplay chart for the fifth time and sits in the top 40 of the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
