With Fallout Season 2 approaching, Amazon Prime Video has kept most of the plot details under wraps. However, one thing is clear: Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, will not develop a romantic relationship with Walton Goggins' character, the Ghoul.

In a conversation with Geek Culture, Purnell, joined by Goggins and Aaron Moten, firmly dismissed any speculation about a romantic storyline between Lucy and the Ghoul.

"Here's what I would say: you guys need therapy," Purnell remarked. "You can't fix him. You can't save him. Let it go. Let it go, hon."

Goggins appeared amused by the fan-driven idea of a Lucy-Ghoul romance. Purnell mentioned that she is frequently asked about the potential pairing.

Following the first season's finale, the characters are heading to New VegasGhoul in search of his wife and child, and Lucy looking for her father. Purnell emphasized that their relationship will remain platonic but described their connection as "really beautiful," noting, "they're both looking for the people that they love. Let's leave it at that."

Although Goggins recently provided his voice and likeness for Fallout 76, he admitted that he has never played the Fallout games and has no intention of doing so.

Fallout Season 2 is set to premiere on December 17 on Prime Video, with episodes releasing weekly through February 4, 2026.
