The data covers the period from January 1 to November 25, 2025, and focuses on trending searches rather than total search volume, since overall searches remain relatively stable year to year.

Leading Searches

Unsurprisingly, the most searched topic in the U.S. was Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist tragically killed while speaking at a Utah university. His death drew widespread attention and responses from politicians, celebrities, and the public.

The second most popular search was the Netflix animated musical KPop Demon Hunters, which tells the story of an idol group who fight demons. The film quickly became a cultural phenomenon and Netflixs most successful movie to date.

Other top trending searches included Labubu, iPhone 17, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Zohran Mamdani, DeepSeek, government shutdown, FIFA Club World Cup, and tariffs.
