Princess Charlotte Emulates Princess Diana During Royal Family Outing

Princess Charlotte, the 10-year-old daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, recently made a striking royal appearance that echoed the style of her late grandmother, Princess Diana. On December 5, she joined her parents and siblingsPrince George, 12, and Prince Louis, 7at the Together At Christmas Carol Service held at Westminster Abbey in London.

For the occasion, Charlotte wore a navy blue velvet dress with long sleeves and a white collar, complemented by navy tights and dark flats. The ensemble bore a remarkable resemblance to an outfit Princess Diana wore to a 1981 dinner at Royal Festival Hall.

The ceremony, set to be broadcast in the U.K. on Christmas Eve, included several members of the royal family. Attendees included Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh; Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall; as well as Kate Middletons parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, and her brother James Middleton with his wife Alize Thevenet.

The event also featured celebrity guests such as Hannah Waddingham, Eugene Levy, Kate Winslet, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Several of them took part in readings during the service. Inside the church, Kate Middleton spoke with attendees and shared a heartfelt message about the importance of kindness and connection during the holiday season, emphasizing that our words, our choices, and even the ways we look out for one anotherthey ripple outward, touching lives we may never see.

Each guest received a special letter from the Princess of Wales, who has hosted the annual Christmas service since 2021. In her message, she encouraged reflection on the bonds that unite people during the festive season, both visible and unseen.
