Katy Perry makes Instagram debut with Justin Trudeau following couple's initial diplomatic outing in Japan

On Saturday, Perry, 41, uploaded a carousel featuring images with Trudeau, 53, captioned: "Tokyo times on tour and more." The post included a selfie of them cheek to cheek and a clip of the pair enjoying sushi at a local restaurant. Perry is currently touring Japan as part of her Lifetimes tour.

A few days earlier, Kishida, 68, shared a photo of the four in front of a Christmas tree, noting their past diplomatic collaboration and ongoing friendship. Trudeau also reposted the image, expressing appreciation for Kishidas continued commitment to global cooperation and friendship.

Perry and Trudeau first sparked dating speculation in July after being seen dining together in Montreal. The following evening, Trudeau attended Perrys Lifetimes Tour concert in the city with his teenage daughter. Earlier this month, media outlets shared images of the couple embracing on Perrys yacht near Santa Barbara, California, and in late October, they were seen together exiting a cabaret in Paris on Perrys birthday.

Perry announced her separation from actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she has a five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, on July 4. Trudeau revealed his split from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, in August 2023; the couple shares three children. Gregoire recently spoke about processing emotions publicly while emphasizing personal choice in dealing with challenging situations.

Trudeau stepped down as Canadas Prime Minister earlier this year after ten years in office.
