Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte Share Sweet Moment During Annual Christmas Service

Kate Middleton shared a touching moment with her daughter Princess Charlotte during the Princess of Wales annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey in London on December 5. The royal family, including Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, attended the event together.

This year marked the fifth edition of the "Together at Christmas" service, which Kate Middleton launched in 2021 to honor community heroes and frontline volunteers during the pandemic. The gathering took place at the same historic venue where Kate and William were married in 2011 and carried the theme of love in all its forms.

Kate arrived early to welcome guests, volunteers, and performers. When Prince William and the children arrived, Princess Charlotte shared a sweet exchange with her mother, smiling as she greeted her, before Kate guided the children into the Abbey.

The event featured a Christmas tree decorated with a red paper chain displaying names and heartfelt messages, including those of the royal children. The family coordinated their outfits for the occasion: George and Louis wore navy suits with white shirts, Charlotte wore a navy dress with a white collar, and Kate wore a long green coat with fur trim, complementing her sons ties.

Other royal family members present included Zara and Mike Tindall, Lord Frederick Windsor and his family, Lady Shara Chatto, and Kates parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, along with her brother James Middleton and his wife Alize Thevenet.

Originally, Hannah Waddingham was scheduled to perform, but singer-songwriter Zak Abel stepped in to sing Silent Night. Celebrity attendees also included Eugene Levy, Mary Berry, Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Dan Smith, contributing to the festive atmosphere of the service.
