The A12 has been reopened after a multi-vehicle accident forced its closure in the southbound direction. According to National Highways, the closure occurred between junctions 29 and 27, near Colchester, Essex, around 19:15 on Saturday.
Essex Police attended the scene, and initially, traffic was being rerouted. Later, the diversion was limited to the area around junction 29. Motorists were advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
