Key Details:

  • Launch Date: Monday, Dec. 8
  • Collection: "BIS x Chipotle: The To Go Collection" features 11 items
  • Purpose: Designed to make transporting Chipotle to any destination effortless and stylish

Bis, the brand known for its travel gear and accessories, is launching a unique collaboration with Chipotle. The new "BIS x Chipotle: The To Go Collection," which drops on December 8, is a carefully curated capsule of 11 items designed to combine practicality with style for Chipotle fans.

Shay Mitchell, the founder and chief creative officer of Bis, is an avid Chipotle fan, and her enthusiasm for the brand inspired this special collection. The items are designed to enhance the experience of transporting Chipotle meals, offering a stylish way to carry your favorite food to any location.

The collection will be available for purchase at 6 a.m. PT on the Bis app on December 8, followed by its availability on the official beistravel.com website at 9 a.m. PT. Fans in Los Angeles can attend a special pop-up event at Chipotle Larchmont on December 6 and 7 to get a first look at the collection and access exclusive shopping opportunities.

Some of the standout items in the collection include:

  • Silver Rollers: Available in carry-on ($278) and large ($378) sizes
  • Luggage Covers: Available in brown shades reminiscent of Chipotle's packaging, in carry-on ($58) and large ($68) sizes
  • Take-Out Tote Bag: Priced at $98, designed to fit a Chipotle bowl
  • Burrito Holder Sling: Available for $48, this insulated sling is designed to carry a Chipotle burrito
  • Chipotle Napkin Sling: Priced at $78, featuring an exterior pocket for easy access to napkins

As an added bonus, the first 5,000 orders in the U.S. and Canada will receive a free entre code from Chipotle, perfect for your next meal on the go.

Bis CEO Adeela Hussain Johnson stated that the goal behind this capsule was to create "elevated silhouettes inspired by real Chipotle takeout habits" that would resonate with superfans and become part of their regular routine.

However, the collection has sparked mixed reactions online. On Bis' Facebook post about the collaboration, some fans criticized it as "tacky" and "atrocious." Similarly, Chipotle's own Facebook post received some negative feedback, with a few calling it "The Tin Man special." Despite this, the collection has also received positive comments on Instagram, with many fans expressing their excitement for the collab.

One user shared their enthusiasm: "This is wild in the best way possible ." Another commented, "My two faves colliding was NOT on my bingo card but Im so so happy."
