Vance denies rumors about Usha online, stating: 'Our marriage is as strong as ever'

Vice President Vance has addressed circulating online rumors regarding his marriage to Usha Vance, asserting that their relationship remains as strong as ever.

Life comes with both challenges and rewards, Vance shared during an interview with NBC News. There are sacrifices, but there are also many positive experiences that make it worthwhile.

He continued, Our marriage is strong, and Ive enjoyed seeing Usha embrace and grow into her role in this new chapter of our lives.

When asked about speculation surrounding their marriage, including reports about Usha not wearing her wedding ring during a November visit to a military base with First Lady Melania Trump, Vance said the couple actually finds the rumors amusing. Its kind of funny, he remarked. I dont see it as particularly challenging.

Vance did acknowledge that public life brings certain difficulties for his family, but described it as a commitment we willingly accepted.

Earlier this year, Vance criticized former White House press secretary Jen Psaki after she hinted at marital troubles, calling her remarks about Usha disgraceful.

Public attention on their marriage has been ongoing since Vance became prominent as Trumps 2024 vice presidential pick. He has defended Usha against commentary on her Indian heritage, though he recently faced criticism for remarks about her religion. At an October event at the University of Mississippi hosted by Turning Point USA, Vance expressed hope that Usha might be influenced by his Christian faith. He later clarified on social media that she is not a Christian and has no plans to convert, but noted his personal hope within the context of an interfaith relationship.
