House Democrats have unveiled a fresh collection of previously unseen images and videos from Jeffrey Epstein's private island, Little Saint James, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This release follows Congress recent vote to make the governments files on Epstein public.
The photos reveal a room featuring a dental chair surrounded by ten yellow masks depicting male faces. None of the faces have been identified as public figures. Another striking image shows a chalkboard bearing the words "power" and "deception."
Representative Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), the lead Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, described the photos as "a disturbing glimpse into Epsteins world," emphasizing that their release is meant to enhance public transparency and contribute to understanding the full scope of Epsteins crimes.
The set, provided to the Oversight Committee by the U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General, also includes images of a shower area with a long bench and multiple towels and pillows, a "No Trespassing" sign, a telephone with speed-dial numbers, as well as Epsteins bedrooms, bathrooms, and pool area. Four videos accompany the images, showcasing the pool and bedroom spaces.
In addition to visual evidence, Garcias office received banking records from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank linked to Epstein, which are expected to be released after review.
The release comes shortly after Congress overwhelmingly voted to make the governments files on Epstein public. The legislation, signed by former President Donald Trump, allows for certain redactions to protect victims identities or ongoing investigations.
Although the complete files have not yet been made public, they may contain evidence seized from Epsteins properties following his 2019 arrest. Public figures connected to Epstein have faced scrutiny this year, including Britains Prince Andrew, who relinquished his royal titles amid renewed attention to his association with Epstein, and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who faced professional repercussions after emails revealed continued contact with Epstein post-2008 conviction.
All parties mentioned have denied involvement in any criminal sexual activities connected to Epstein.
