The 33-page document, titled National Security Strategy and dated November 2025, emphasizes the declining strength of European powers, arguing that the influx of migrants has weakened the region both militarily and culturally. The challenges facing Europe include the influence of the European Union and other international bodies that undermine national sovereignty, migration policies leading to division, the erosion of free speech, plummeting birthrates, and a crisis of national identity, the strategy reads. It further argues that the U.S. should remain concerned about whether European countries can be relied upon as allies, given these internal struggles.
