Dakota Johnson made a striking appearance at the Women in Cinema Gala in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, donning a flowing white gown from Chlos winter 2025 collection. The semi-sheer ensemble featured a deep V-neckline and voluminous sleeves that reached her elbows, complemented by a tiered lace skirt that highlighted her long legs.

The actress completed her look with white patent leather heels, Chopard jewelry, and a leather handbag by Chlo. She opted for a natural makeup look with a pale pink lip and left her hair down in soft waves.

The gala coincided with the Red Sea Film Festival, where Johnson has been attending events to showcase her projects. Speaking at the festival, she reflected on her transition into directing and producing, drawing inspiration from her parents, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.

Johnson shared, Growing up on sets, I watched my parents collaborate with filmmakers and producers, which inspired me to be more involved in projects. As I progressed in my career, I wanted to create projects that explore facets of myself and human experiences, especially stories driven by women.

She also discussed the contrast between acting and producing, noting that producing presents unique challenges. Acting feels contained, but producing exposes the complexities behind the scenes. Sometimes dealing with financiers is disheartening, but its also rewarding to bring a vision to life, Johnson said.
