Vans Explores Trend of 'Kpop Demon Hunters' in Latest Footwear Collection

Vans is diving into the global Kpop phenomenon with a fresh collection inspired by Netflixs hit series Kpop Demon Hunters. The new capsule celebrates the fan-favorite girl group HUNTR/X and their demon-fighting allies. It will be available in stores starting December 5 and online from December 8.

The collection incorporates the shows signature neon-infused style into Vans classic designs, paired with the brands iconic checkerboard pattern. Characters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey from HUNTR/X appear on the Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Hi models, while their protectors Derpy Tiger and Sussie feature in bold graphic designs. The rival demon boy band, Saja Boys, is showcased on the Old Skool and Old Skool V models, featuring demon-inspired motifs.

Since the shows debut, Kpop Demon Hunters has expanded into multiple collaborations, quickly establishing itself in the competitive K-content merchandising scene. Limited-edition character figurines sold out rapidly over the summer, followed by a streetwear collaboration with Korean brand A.C.D.C. that trended on TikTok. A beauty partnership with Etude House, inspired by Miras Moonlit Orchid eye look, became one of the years top K-beauty launches. Meanwhile, an official Saja Boys tour hoodie release caused server crashes in multiple regions, and even fast-casual chains offered themed meal kits tied to major plot events.

Netflix has also named Mattel and Hasbro as global co-master toy licensees for Kpop Demon Hunters, with products hitting retail in spring 2026. This dual co-master licensing strategy is considered unprecedented, reflecting the strong anticipated demand for merchandise from the franchise.
