Sydney Sweeney Takes a Risk in Miu Miu Gown Supported by 2 Strings

Sydney Sweeney turned heads on the red carpet during the New York City premiere of her upcoming film, The Housemaid, wearing a striking Miu Miu creation. The gown, featuring ultra-thin straps and a daring neckline, highlighted the actresss bold fashion sense and fearless approach to style.

The custom-designed dress, supported by only two delicate straps, cascaded into a dramatic mermaid silhouette with a short train. Embellished with sparkling rhinestones, the ensemble exuded a glamorous, Old Hollywood vibe. Sweeney accessorized with exquisite Messika jewelry and added a touch of theatrical flair with a white feather boa draped elegantly over her arms.

Contrary to prior hints at a new bob haircut, Sweeney arrived with her long blonde hair styled in loose waves framing her face. Her makeup emphasized striking blue eyes with black eyeliner and shimmering white eyeshadow, paired with a soft nude-pink lip to complete the sophisticated look.

The premiere was attended by a star-studded crowd, including Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Indiana Elle, Megan Ferguson, Ellen Tamaki, and Alaina Surgener. Director Paul Feig and author Freida McFadden were also present. Seyfried wore a floor-length baby pink Versace gown, accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and Aquazzura heels, her blonde hair styled in loose waves similar to Sweeneys.

In the days leading up to the premiere, Sweeney promoted the film in New York City wearing two standout outfits: a cranberry red satin midi dress by Alex Perry on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and a vivid red custom Patou ensemble at a Soho dinner.
