Seyfried added that the film combines real emotional trauma with themes of empowerment: Its grounded in very real experiences, but also highlights female strength. The ending is unexpectedly cathartic.
Both actresses expressed excitement about the project, with Sweeney calling it delicious and layered and Seyfried sharing that playing Nina was the most fun role Ive ever had the chance to explore.
