‘School Spirits’ Teases Season 3 Premiere in January

Peyton List is returning to unravel a fresh mystery in the upcoming third season of the Paramount+ series School Spirits. The new season will debut with a special three-episode launch on January 28, a date revealed during the shows panel at CCXP in So Paulo, Brazil. At the event, the first footage from the season was showcased, giving fans a glimpse of whats to come.

Now shes back in her body and trying to piece her life together, List explained of her character Maddie Nears. Her best friend is trapped, and shes determined to rescue him. She also highlighted Maddies emotional struggle: Shes deeply connected to these deceased characters, which makes it really hard for her to choose between the living and the dead.

The third season follows Maddie as she balances her duty to protect both the living and the spirits, while confronting unsettling visions. Meanwhile, her best friend Simon, portrayed by Kristian Ventura, remains in the afterlife, working to uncover the secrets of Split River High. Together, they aim to understand the series of deaths at the school and decipher the warnings left by Mr. Martin (Josh Zuckerman).

The returning ensemble cast includes Peyton List, Kristian Ventura, Josh Zuckerman, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Ci Hang Ma, Miles Elliot, and Milo Manheim. New additions for this season are Jennifer Tilly, Ari Dalbert, and Erika Swayze.

The renewal for season three was confirmed in March following the shows successful second season, which saw a notable increase in viewership. Shauna Phelan, head of live-action scripted series and film for Awesomeness TV and Nickelodeon, commented on the renewal: We are thrilled to bring School Spirits back to fans for another season of captivating storytelling, brought to life by Peyton List and the incredible cast.

List is widely recognized for her role as Tory Nichols in Cobra Kai, and her film credits include Valley Girl and Hubie Halloween.
