Miley Cyrus fans around the world celebrated this week as news broke of her engagement to musician Maxx Morando. The pop icon has shared that shes looking forward to embracing every moment of this new chapter in her life with her fianc.

During a recent press event for Avatar: Fire and Ash, where she contributed the original song Dream as One, Cyrus spoke with Billboards Tetris Kelly about her engagement. She described the timing as ideal, saying, Its really about love, resilience, building from the ground up. Its perfectly in sync with my personal life.

When asked about her wedding plans, the Grammy winner admitted that with the busy schedule surrounding the film and the upcoming holidays, she hasnt made any firm decisions yet. My instinct is always to enjoy every moment for as long as you possibly can, she said, emphasizing her desire to savor life rather than rush into the next milestone.

The former Hannah Montana star and Morando have been together for four years, after meeting on a blind date in 2021. Their engagement rumors began when Cyrus appeared at the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere wearing a gold ring on her left hand, which she later confirmed in her Billboard interview.

Reflecting on her relationship, she previously told Harpers Bazaar that she and Morando share a similar approach to life, noting, We just dont take life too seriously. Morando has also collaborated on several tracks from Cyrus albums Endless Summer Vacation and Something Beautiful.
