Divorces among 'Love Is Blind' couples are becoming a common trend after nine seasons of the show. On December 3, Alexa and Brennon Lemieux from season 3 made headlines by announcing their split after welcoming their daughter in July 2024. This marks them as the fourth couple to file for divorce in 2025, bringing the total number of divorces from the show to six. While some couples, like season 1's Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, and Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, have defied the odds and stayed together, many others havent had the same luck.
As long-time viewers know, not all love stories on the show have been as perfect as they seem. While some couples ended their journeys before even reaching the altar, others married, only to later announce their divorce. Let's take a closer look at the couples who ended their marriages after the show, from season 2 to season 8.
Alexa & Brennon Lemieux (2021 2025)
Alexa and Brennon Lemieux were one of the most adored couples from season 3, getting married on camera in July 2021. In July 2024, they celebrated the birth of their daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux. Despite their initial happiness, Alexa announced their separation on Instagram in December 2025. She wrote: After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time weve shared.
She continued, saying that while their marriage had ended, they remained committed to co-parenting and supporting each other through this transition.
Danielle Ruhl & Nick Thompson (2021 2022)
Season 2's Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were a favorite couple but shocked fans when they announced their split in 2022, just a year after their wedding. Ruhl filed for divorce in August 2022, explaining the split as a result of personality compatibility differences.
She expressed how difficult it was to move on despite the love they shared. A month later, Thompson spoke publicly about his grief, acknowledging the emotional challenges he faced and how he was navigating his feelings of loss.
Jarrette Jones & Iyanna McNeely (2021 2022)
Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely, also from season 2, separated a year into their marriage. The couple announced their decision to divorce in August 2022, revealing their lives were heading in different directions. McNeely later revealed in an interview that infidelity played a role in their split, saying, Jarrette cheated. I found out three days before After the Altar. I received an email with very specific details.
Despite the painful ending, McNeely emphasized that she would have been a good wife to someone who treated her well.
Tyler Frances & Ashley Adionser (2023 2025)
Tyler Frances and Ashley Adionser, who appeared on season 7, called it quits just over a year after their wedding. In January 2025, Adionser shared on Instagram that they had been separated for several weeks before making the difficult decision to end their marriage. She emphasized the importance of moving on for her own growth and peace. Frances later addressed the split on Instagram, acknowledging his role in their challenges and respecting Adionsers decision to prioritize her happiness.
Colleen Reed & Matt Bolton (2021 2025)
Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton, from season 3, ended their marriage in May 2025 after nearly four years. They shared a joint statement on Instagram announcing their decision to part ways. The couple, who had a rocky relationship on the show, had not even moved in together until 2023, despite being married. Their relationship struggled to gain momentum, leading to their eventual divorce.
Milton Johnson & Lydia Velez Gonzalez (2022 2025)
Milton Johnson and Lydia Velez Gonzalez, who met on season 5, announced their divorce after almost three years of marriage. Gonzalez opened up in a podcast interview about her decision to file for divorce, mentioning a series of unresolved issues and the lack of support from Johnson, especially after her fibromyalgia diagnosis in 2024. She expressed feeling isolated in their marriage and stated that she had been suffering in silence. The couples rocky start on the show, where they clashed over their age difference and other issues, foreshadowed the struggles they faced in their relationship.
