King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Revive Their Festival

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are set to return with the second edition of their custom camping event, Field of Vision, taking place from August 14-16 at Meadow Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado. This Australian bands only other U.S. appearances in 2026 will be from August 20-22 at New Yorks Forest Hills Stadium, where they plan to deliver two rock performances alongside a fully electronic set.

The Field of Vision lineup includes Blood Incantation, Die Spitz, DJ Crenshaw, Earth Tongue, Etran de LAr, Folk Bitch Trio, Lisa Bella Donna, Pattie Gonia, and Upchuck, with King Gizzard performing across all three nights. Tickets for both the festival and the Forest Hills shows will be available starting Friday, December 5.

The inaugural Field of Vision drew attendees from over 50 countries and featured three unique three-hour sets by the band. Reflecting on the first event, Joey Walker commented from the stage on the final night: Before we came here, we werent sure what to expect or how it would feel. We considered continuing next year, but we needed to see how it landed. Now that weve experienced it and youve had fun, were doing it again.

King Gizzards limited U.S. schedule in 2026 comes after a year dominated by international shows, with only 12 North American stops. The band will also perform seven shows in Australia over the next two weeks, marking their first significant tour at home since late 2021.

Meanwhile, the group is actively working on their 28th studio album, created on a custom modular synthesizer setup called Nathan. This system has been used in recent electronic shows where they reimagined many guitar-based songs in electronic formats.

In July, King Gizzard removed their music from Spotify in protest of CEO Daniel Eks personal involvement in AI military drone projects.
