Joe Manganiello leaves Hollywood for Pittsburgh with fiancé after 20 years in LA

Actor Joe Manganiello and his fiance, Caitlin O'Connor, have traded the Hollywood lifestyle for life in their native Pittsburgh. The couple recently settled in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of the city, according to O'Connor, 36, in an interview with People.

"L.A. has been home for both of us for over 20 years. I was born there, but grew up in Pittsburgh, so it's where we both come from," O'Connor explained.

Their shared hometown roots played a key role in their connection. "We really bond over our upbringing and the familiar hometown experiences. Being back here together feels amazing," she added.

O'Connor described their new neighborhood as picturesque and safe, almost like a "postcard." "I've never seen a more beautiful part of Pittsburgh. Its truly idyllic," she said.

The move had been in the works for some time. While the couple will continue to travel to Los Angeles and New York for work, Pittsburgh will serve as their primary home base.

Manganiello and O'Connor first attracted attention as a couple two years ago and made their relationship official by the end of 2023. They got engaged in October, following a June proposal.

This new chapter comes after Manganiello's divorce from Sofia Vergara, which was announced in July 2023 after seven years of marriage. In a joint statement, the former couple requested privacy while navigating the transition.
