Jessica Alba discusses the 'very humiliating' nude scene she filmed for 'Fantastic Four'

At the Red Sea Film Festival, Jessica Alba, 44, shared candid reflections on her experience filming the 2005 superhero movie Fantastic Four. She described her most difficult moment as the scene where her character, Sue Storm, appears naked over a bridge.

Alba recalled, I found that scene extremely uncomfortable and humiliating. Coming from a conservative family and being a modest person, I dreaded it for weeks. It left a lasting impression on me.

Despite the challenge, she praised her characters role in challenging gender norms. Sue was someone I admired, Alba said. She was caring and maternal, yet assertive and strong-willed. She had a clear moral compass, and anyone could look up to her. Back then, female characters were often the ones needing saving, but Sue was different.

In addition to Alba, Fantastic Four starred Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, and Julian McMahon. When asked about the new 2025 Fantastic Four: First Steps starring Vanessa Kirby, Alba admitted she hasnt seen it yet, citing family movie time with her children as a priority.

Currently, Alba is focused on her production company, Lady Metalmark Entertainment, and promoting diversity in storytelling. She emphasized the importance of representing different perspectives on screen, noting that Hollywood has historically been dominated by white male voices.

Alba also reflected on her personal life, sharing that she and her husband of 16 years, Cash Warren, have separated. Weve grown together over the years, and now its time for a new chapter as individuals, she wrote, highlighting their commitment to co-parenting their three children: Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 7.

Alba is currently seeing actor Danny Ramirez. Sources describe their relationship as casual but meaningful, with Alba embracing her personal life openly.
