Disney Announces Opening Dates for 2026 New Rides & Attractions

Disneyland has unveiled its complete 2026 schedule, revealing the launch dates for new attractions and rides, as well as special events at the parks. Among the highlights are the updated version of Soarin', an exciting new Bluey show, and additional experiences for guests to enjoy.

Soarin' Across America Opens July 2, 2026

As part of the United States' 250th anniversary celebration, Disney will debut Soarin' Across America at Disneyland Resort on July 2, 2026, just ahead of the resort's Fourth of July festivities. The ride will showcase iconic landscapes and cityscapes across the country, offering guests a scenic journey through Americas natural beauty and urban highlights.

Concept previews suggest the ride will feature landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, the Louisiana bayou, and a mountainous region resembling Mount Rushmore. Tom Fitzgerald, Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, emphasized that the ride aims to capture the diversity and splendor of the nation in honor of the Semi-quincentennial.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Gets New Storyline May 22, 2026

A fresh mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu will arrive at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run on May 22, 2026. This update enhances gameplay, particularly for the Engineer role, and guides guests to iconic Star Wars locations. While there won't be a full Season of the Force celebration this year, special Star Wars experiences are still expected throughout the 70th anniversary festivities at Disneyland.

Hyperspace Mountain Returns April 28, 2026

The Star Wars-themed Hyperspace Mountain will reopen for a limited period starting April 28, 2026. Guests will experience an immersive space battle, navigating crossfire from X-wing and TIE fighters. The duration of this overlay is not yet confirmed, but it is expected to coincide with the debut of the new Millennium Falcon storyline.

Blueys Best Day Ever Premieres March 22, 2026

Disneyland will introduce a new family-friendly show, Blueys Best Day Ever, at Fantasyland Theatre on March 22, 2026. Inspired by the popular Disney+ series, the live performance will feature Bluey, Bingo, and a cast of actors and musicians, bringing the vibrant world of Bluey to life on stage.

The production will combine music, interactive games, and immersive environments such as a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden. Guests can also enjoy themed food inspired by the show, making the experience a full celebration of Bluey's universe.

Disney continues to expand its 2026 offerings with attractions designed for all ages, ensuring a memorable visit for families and fans of every kind.
