McDonald's introduces new Grinch-inspired meal: Learn more

McDonald's has launched a playful new Grinch Meal, offering a holiday-themed twist for fans of its classic menu. Developed in collaboration with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the Grinch Meal became available nationwide on December 2, following its announcement in a press release on November 20.

The meal draws inspiration from the iconic green holiday mischief-maker and features Dill Pickle "Grinch Salt," which can be shaken onto McDonald's fries using the special McShaker bag. Customers can enjoy the fries alongside a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, paired with a medium beverage.

Accompanying the meal, McDonald's included a playful note from the Grinch himself: a handwritten message on crumpled paper from Mt. Crumpit. In the note, the Grinch humorously claimed the meal as his own creation, saying it was designed to add a mischievous twist to the holiday season and encouraging fans to enjoy it starting December 2.

The Grinch Meal also comes with a pair of themed socks featuring messages from the Grinch, available in four colors. These socks can be worn or used as a makeshift stocking, echoing the whimsical spirit of Mt. Crumpit.

This limited-time meal is available at participating McDonald's locations across the U.S., while supplies last.

The Grinch, a beloved character from Dr. Seuss' 1957 classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, has appeared in numerous adaptations over the years, including the 1966 animated TV special voiced by Boris Karloff, the 2000 live-action film starring Jim Carrey, and the 2018 animated feature with Benedict Cumberbatch lending his voice.
