Fox News Elevates Aishah Hasnie to Anchor and White House Correspondent

Fox News Media has announced the promotion of Aishah Hasnie, who will now serve as both a program anchor and a White House correspondent. Beginning January 10, she will host a Saturday afternoon show from noon to 2 p.m. ET, while taking on White House reporting duties starting this week.

Since joining Fox News in 2019, Hasnie has held positions as senior national correspondent and congressional correspondent. Prior to that, she worked as a New York-based correspondent. Throughout her career at the network, she has conducted interviews with figures such as Donald Trump during his presidential campaign, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Taiwanese Ambassador Alexander Yui. She has also covered the 2020 and 2024 presidential elections, the recent government shutdown, and the extended vote to elect Mike Johnson as Speaker in 2023.

Before her tenure at Fox News, Hasnie anchored and reported on investigative stories for WXIN-TV in Indianapolis, managing the 4 PM newscast "First at Four." She also served as an investigative reporter and fill-in anchor at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Hasnie began her career at GEO-TV, an international network in Pakistan, where she was born.

Fox News president and executive editor Jay Wallace stated, "Aishahs expertise in Washington makes her an ideal member of our distinguished White House correspondent team, and we are confident she will shine in her new role as an anchor."
